Outlaw Rum (Islay Cask Finish) - Premium Rum

Limited edition of 983 bottles. The first premium rum, matured in an Islay whisky cask.  From the award-winning Angostura Distillery.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Wood fire and sweet caramel combined with peat and sweetness, moving to slight vanilla essence with a hint of toffee. Hints of oakiness with smoothness and mellow smoke.
• Palate: Not unlike the nose, an exceptionally smooth combination of smoke, caramel rich sweetness, vanilla and toffee. Reveals citrus zest with oakiness and sherry wood. A rich balance of smoke and creamy butter, akin to a Christmas pudding.
• Finish: Long lingering trace of raisins, toffee, lightly burnt toast, and coconut without excessive sweetness. Comparable to a quality peated whisky.
