The Whisky Ministry - Peallach Inaugural Single Malt

A limited cask strength release of 200 serial numbered bottles, each custom labelled with a buyer's  name.

This robust, complex and heavily peated whisky from the Tobermory Distlllery, located at the Isle of Mull, was matured in a re-charred bourbon cask, and bottled in 2014 at the age of 7 years old, where the note, palate and finish are optimal.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Sweetly peated with buttery caramel and toffee aromas. Reveals coastal character with developing wisps of sea spray and fragrant liquorice.
• Palate: Mild ginseng and lapsang souchong, with a buffet of brine, oysters, lemons, and grilled vegetables. A chewy, thick mouthy feel with hints of smoked toffee and vanilla sweetness.
• Finish: Medium to long smokiness reminiscent of a seaside bonfire with a lasting impression of a smoky, lingering sweetness.
